The ISARIA team visits the USA
The Grundy and ISARIA teams after the dual on April 7th
The ISARIA youth wrestling team from Bavaria in Germany visited Virgina and Maryland from April 5-20. They had clinics and duals with
the Grundy team the Christansburg demons and the Harford Grapplers. They also participated in the "Christiansbrg Freestyle Tournament"
and in the Severna Park Maryland Freestyle Tournament.
The ISARIA wrestlers, coaches and parents had a wonderful time in the USA. They are grateful to the Young wrestlers in Virginia and
Maryland and to their coaches for making this trip such a wonderful experience. They are also grateful to the American host families who graciously
took in the German wrestlers. Special thanks to Paul Joyce for permitting the team to start in Severna Park and Kevin Dresser for the Tournament in
Christiansburg. Last but not least, Ron Garvin and Haswell Frankling from the MSWA went through great length to arrange the great wrestling in Maryland.
It was an experience of a lifetime.
